The lives of people after natural disasters such as tsunami, cyclones and other natural disorders are very hard. It will take years to bring things to normal and most of the nations have started the natural disaster management department as a part of the defense program and allocate a portion of the money in the annual budget for this department.

The countries like Indonesia, southern parts of India, Java, Sumatra and other countries experienced one of the major shocks of the century with tsunami destroying lives and property few years ago. The death toll was in thousands and a lot of people were left home less. The tsunami waves have not been so fierce in any part of the world until it was experienced in these regions. A lot of social organizations and workers will help the affected people and government workers after natural disasters such as Tsunami and cyclones. A lot of survivors will be buried alive inside the destructed areas below the constructions.

Mostly the natural disasters will occur in the form of earth, air, water and fire. The natural elements are mainly responsible for the natural disasters and in the highly improved scientific age, there are high chances of predicting the natural disasters but still the people die in large numbers after natural disasters such as volcano etc. There are instruments to measure the rictor scale in the case of earth quakes and warn the people of the earth quake that is going to happen in the future.

Similarly, there are weather forecasting equipments to forecast the rainfall but still in some of the developing and under developed nations, people die yearly during the rainy season due to floods. There are also instruments to predict the volcanoes, cyclones etc and in most of the developed nations, people are moved to safe places to avoid loss of life. There will be sudden outbreak of diseases like sars , cholera etc after natural disasters such as cyclones as there will be large number of deaths and a lot of sanitary diseases will spread to the living people from the condition if the place destructed by the natural disaster. Hence, the role of medical camps and first aid is very important in the case of natural disasters in saving people's lives.
